Staff members had hundreds of gowns, caps, and tassels ready for Lincoln High seniors during an assembly Thursday, ahead of the May graduation ceremony.

As Lincoln High School senior, Abigail Ming walked up to receive her cap and gown, Thursday, she was feeling a mix of emotions.  “It’s scary knowing we are about to graduate and we will have real world responsibilities.” Said Ming.  Hundreds of seniors received caps, gowns, and information leading up to their May 30 graduation.  While the ceremony is still weeks away, the realities of the big accomplishment took life Thursday for Ming and the many other seniors receiving graduation information and items.  “Getting my cap and gown made it that more real for me,” Said Ming, “Senior year went by really fast.”  Stay tuned to The Lincolnian and on Twitter at @LhsLincolnian for updates from the senior class and the graduation ceremony in May.
