If you’re from Stockton, then you have most likely had at least one shopping visit to Marshall’s located at 2203 Grand Canal Blvd right off of March Lane. Well, located in Marshall’s parking lot is one of the city’s finest taco trucks, Gallo’s. The bright green taco truck is a family owned and operated business. The husband and wife team of Maria and Antonio Gallo, have owned and operated this truck for the past year together, as their successful catering business evolved into a food truck business. As COVID-19 became a reality, the immediate effect was on the Gallo’s catering business which practically came to a complete halt. The food truck provided a safe location to serve their delicious food to their craving customers. It is a business that is all about family and the love they put into their food. Gallo’s has deservingly earned a 4.5 rating on Yelp over the past year, and they are open Wednesday through Monday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

The Gallo’s will welcome you like family each time you visit. Three to four friends (like me) or family members will be working together inside the truck to create original recipes from Guadalajara. The family specialty is the Gallo Torta, but all of your Mexican classics are on the menu featuring homemade tacos, burritos, quesadillas and tostadas. All of the meats (steak, chicken, pork) are seasoned and marinated to perfection.
