STOCKTON: There was no guarantee that the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was going to be held this year as the concert world fights its way back into existence after Covid. Festival organizers are expecting more than 250,000 fans to attend this year’s event which is being held from April 15-24, 2022, at the Empire Polo Club. Headlining this year’s festival musical lineup are Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Swedish Hose Mafia, Danny Elfman, and BROCKHAMPTON. General admission tickets are being sold for $549, general admission with a shuttle pass goes for $633, and a VIP ticket will cost you $1,119. The Empire Polo Club is a 78 acre polo club located in Indio, California, in the heart of the Coachella Valley.

Coachella has proven year after year to be one of the largest, most famous, and exciting music festivals in the country. When Coachella first opened in October of 1999, there were only 25,000 attendees. Each year Coachella sets a new record for how many attendees they reel in. In 2017, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival attracted over 180,000 guests from all over the world and pulled in a record $115 million dollars in sales. Organizers this year are expecting both of these previous records to be shattered. For those of us who can’t afford these generous prices, we will have to be happy to watch all of the clips on YouTube!
