The Super Bowl is the annual final playoff game of the National Football League to determine the league champion. It has served as the final game of every NFL season since 1966 and is usually played on the second Sunday in February. This year, the Super Bowl was held in Glendale, Arizona at the State Farm Stadium.

The competing teams in this year’s Super Bowl were the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. It was the first time that these two teams had faced each other in a Super Bowl! The Chiefs played the Super Bowl in 2020 and beat the San Francisco 49ers making it their second Super Bowl win. The Eagles also went to the Super Bowl in 2018 and they beat the New England Patriots making it their first Super Bowl win in their franchise. These two teams are first in their division for having the most wins for the season!

Going into the game, fans had a hard time deciding who would win this year’s Super Bowl game. To be honest it was a great matchup between two hard to beat teams. The Eagles were going into halftime with a 10 point lead. Patrick Mahomes re-injured his ankle in the second quarter however he managed to keep playing for the rest of the game. The Chiefs were able to take the lead in the fourth quarter, but the Eagles tied the game with 5 minutes left in the fourth quarter. With 11 seconds left in the game, the Chiefs won the game by scoring a field goal making it their third Super Bowl win!
