Stockton: The first year of high school can be very stressful for new incoming 9th graders.  Most of the time, freshmen are busy trying to adjust to their new school, and they overlook all of the opportunities to be involved in their community.  One of those things includes clubs.  Clubs are a good look into what the school is like culturally and gives people the opportunity to meet fellow students.  Another thing students should consider is attending and supporting our sports teams at Lincoln High School.  High school football games are one of the most unforgettable experiences from one’s high school years.  At the same time, 9th graders should also be focused on their academics. When students are seniors, they start to realize where they should’ve paid attention to their studies now that they are at the next chapter of their life. 9th graders should try to be involved in their school and have a good time, but also stay focused on their studies.
