Angel Reese is a female basketball player that has multiple endorsements from big name brands from Nike, Cold Stone, and even the NBA. Reese was a previous player at LSU where she led her team and LSU to their first national championship. She is now in the WNBA and is a key player in the newly started Unrivaled women’s basketball league. As of last week Angel Reese´s meal from McDonald’s was released, adding her to the list of stars such as Travis Scott, Micheal Jordan, and many others who have partnered with McDonald’s.
The Angel Reese Special is a limited-time meal deal at McDonald’s that includes a BBQ bacon quarter pounder, fries, and a drink. The meal is so special to Angel because it recognizes her accomplishments both on and off the court. To many it may seem like a simple meal for an athlete who has gained a platform, but for Reese, it shows she has made such an impact on millions of people and her work of advocating for female athletes has truly paid off. This is Mcdonald’s first ever national meal with a female athlete. From personal experience I liked the burger and found the whole meal to be enjoyable. It tasted like a homemade barbecue bacon burger that your Grandmother would make! I would definitely go try it again, and I think McDonald´s should look into making it an official meal on the menu. If you or anyone you know is in the mood for McDonald’s, make sure to spread the word that the Angel Reese Special is the perfect meal to try! Not only will you be trying a new food, you will be supporting an outstanding female athlete who has put hard work in on becoming the superstar and talented athlete she is.
