Stockton- Lincoln High School is known for their amazing performing arts program! From plays to musicals, their drama department works hard to showcase their great performances. This fall, Lincoln is putting together their annual Fall straight play which this year is ‘Clue’. Like the fun board game you grew up playing with your friends and family, ‘Clue’ is a comedic play with an intriguing murder mystery storyline. Directed by Mr Shary, he chose this play for many reasons. He stated, “I chose ‘Clue’ because this is actually the 40th anniversary of the original film and it’s a show I really love and have wanted to do for a long time.” Students should come see the play this September for 2 weekends: the 19th-21st and the 26th-28th to support Lincoln’s Drama department and to enjoy a fun show as well as to support their fellow classmates who are casted in the show. Tickets are available at the door, cash only for just $10! Landon Mathews is a senior here at Lincoln High School and has been involved in the drama department for 4 years. Landon thinks that it will be a great show to come see. “People should come see ‘Clue’ because we have all been working really hard and it is one of our best shows yet.” For a different standpoint James Cheshire is the Assistant stage manager working on the show and he had lots to say about working on the show from a tech point of view, “It’s been a great experience working with the actors and seeing them improve and watching the process from the tech booth seeing how much the show has improved and it turning out so good.”
