Our History
Origins
The Lincolnian is nearly as old as Lincoln High School itself, dating back more than 60 years as of 2023. However, it was once very different than it is now. The Lincolnian originally consisted of physical printings that would be distributed for students to view. Among many things, it contained an abundance of school specific discussion and news as well as political cartoons and newspaper games. While the Lincolnian gradually evolved over time, it remained somewhat consistent through the mid 90s.
Currently
The Lincolnian is currently under rebranding after many years of not much going on. We hope to make the Lincolnian once again relevant to the interests of our student population, and to take advantages of the unique abilities of an online newspaper. Eventually, we hope to begin once again printing physical copies of the Lincolnian.
The Lincolnian is a member of the National Scholastic Press Association. Our monthly publication is distributed free to all students and staff.
