Stockton– Friday Night Lights are back for the season here at Lincoln High! Friday September 1st, The Lincoln Trojans varsity football team took on the Antelope Titans for their first home game of the 2023-24 school year. The Antelope Titans started off with a bang as number 6 Cassidy Cole took a 60 yard touchdown, tip-toeing across the sideline into the endzone. Jordin Thomas and the Trojans did not back down, as they responded with a 79 yard touchdown run on only the 2nd play of the drive. Going into halftime Martin Tokmo and Elijah Chrome-Cordero connected on a 46 yard touchdown that pumped the crowd up! The Trojans went into half with a 21- 7 lead.
“Don’t let up,” Coach Terrance Hampton emphasized going back onto the field after the half. The Trojans drove down the field and put up another early 6 with Jordin Thomas following his offensive line. Lincoln absorbed Coach Hamptons instruction and did not let up. They won the “Red Out” with a score of 49-21 led by Senior?Junior? Jordin Thomas with 301 yards and 5 touchdowns..
