The greatest risk in life is not taking one. The greatest lie is I love you forever and always. The greatest feeling of brokenness is hiding behind a fake smile. All these things and so much more we deal with every day. We deal with the voice in our heads, that just won’t stop criticizing us. Most of us listen to that voice, I know I do. But it’s just one of our many mistakes. The truth is, the greatest lie is life. It deceives you yet it lifts you. Sometimes we float, sometimes we sink. One silly little thing can make us or break us. It can take the happiness right out of you if you let it. Why let that happen? Why let someone or something take your beautiful light you were given? It’s challenging, especially these days and with this generation. But if you just focus on yourself and continue to keep that light going, if you continue to do what’s best for you and help when you can, that light will spread so far.
Everything will start falling into place and you know what the best part is? YOU DID THAT. You put your mind to it. Yes people may have encouraged you or helped you. People might have encouraged you to go to the gym and give you workouts. But did they force you to do them? Did they physically make you do it? You had that voice saying “alright I’m going to stop now” but you had that overpowering voice saying “one more rep, we got this”. You might think you’re not worthy or you don’t have it, but you do. We all do, but we can all get clouded in our heads with doubt and fear. Doubt and fear were put here to challenge us. They were put here to make us more desperate for the clouds to be gone. The more you think about it, clouds are just air that can easily be pushed away. Our thoughts can easily be pushed away or forgotten. We do it every day. Someone will tell you something and 5 seconds later you don’t remember. If you really want to, you can get rid of those clouds, but this only happens if you let go of the fear and doubt. If you take the risk, if you believe in love but still always protect yourself, if you stop putting on a fake smile and show the real you. In life there are already so many lies, so why create more? Even though you’re in pain, don’t lie about it, admit it. Admit it, but don’t dwell on it. Being real is the greatest thing you can do, no matter who you are. So, as Nike says, just do it.
