The Lincoln Trojans are heading to Monterey Trails on November 8th for the first round of the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section football playoffs. The Trojans are 4-6 so far this season has been led by offensive lineman Aydrien Williamson and Linebacker Kendrick Davis. Both throughout the season. Both have played significant roles on their team and have spoken about their thoughts on getting ready for the game tonight.
When asked about his preparations for tonight, Davis stated: “I prepare by mentally indulging myself in the presence of my upcoming ecosystem. I like to envision myself making that tremendous play and really boosting the inner dog. I would like to consider myself a monk when it comes to the preparation of one’s battle and hardships.”
Williamson responded to the same question by saying, “The best way that I prepare for a football game is the mindset of how I’m going to dominate on the field. I wake up with an attitude of how I want to be on the field showing my dominance, I stay forced on task on hand and block out distractions that will affect my performance. I listen to music and watch films of my opponents and wait for game time to take the dub with my teammates’ family.”
Both Williamson and Davis are looking forward to the tough competition tonight, and are hoping to bring their team to victory and continue putting up a fight in the playoffs. The game will start tonight at 7:00pm and will be played in Elk Grove at Monterey Trails. Make sure to show up and support your very own Lincoln High School Trojans!
