Alana Luman, Editor-In-Chief
Alana Luman is the Editor-in-Chief for The Lincolnian. The year 2021-22 is Alana’s fourth and final year in the journalism program. Alana serves as the new Editor-in-Chief, being the successor to Gabriel Porras. When she’s not doing hours of homework, she is drawing and taking pictures. Alana loves anything artistic, and spends most of her time with a pencil or camera in hand. Luman loves taking journalism and writing, as it is the closest thing to creative writing in school. Alana wants to pursue journalism for all four years of her high school career.
Outside of academics and art, Alana practices Brazilian JiuJitsu under Cesar Gracie, Wrestling under Coach Alonzo for the Lincoln High Women’s Team, and previously practiced Judo under Sensei Haruo Makimoto for the Okubo Judo Club.
