Stockton- Coming off of last year’s state run our Lincoln High School boys Basketball team is looking forward to trying to get back to the State Championship. Jagger Merolla, one of the three captains this year, said, “we’ll be ready and fully loaded for whatever comes our way,” and says that,” we are going to win the league championship”.” Jagger sounds very confident that they’ll get back to where they once were before.
One of the most popular fans of Lincoln basketball, Junior Greyson Shelby said,”I think that the guys are going to win it all and try their hardest to win the league and make it back to the State Championship. Greyson is talking about how excited he is to watch the basketball team this year. Head coach of this year’s Lincoln basketball team, Anthony Matthews, said, “I think that this year could be better than years before because we’re simply just more of a team.” This year will be exciting to watch the coming up games.
