Stockton- This past week was full of Trojan activities and here at the Lincolnian, we are providing up to date information and recaps of some of the biggest and best events Lincoln has to offer. First up is the world of sports and how the Trojans defeated the competition this past week.
Sports:
- Boys varsity basketball got their revenge against Tracy High School with a big win of 68-33!
- Girls varsity had a big win against McClatchy during the St. Mary’s MLK Girls Basketball Showcase, and put out the flames at Lodi on Thursday.
- JV girls basketball did not have much luck against the Lodi flames, but will bounce back stronger next week.
- JV boys soccer had a big week with two wins against Kimball and West
- Boys varsity soccer went 1-1 this past week with a 1-0 win against Kimball and a loss against West.
- Girls varsity soccer had a BIG win on senior night this past week, beating Kimball 12-0!
Clubs:
- Last week Our Planet Club held one of their monthly recycling days after school and their LTA where they decorated recycling signs to hang up around school
- The Games Club is continuing with their foosball tournament with weekly games in Mrs. Zollinger’s room.
- Club photos are happening during lunch so make sure you follow your clubs on socials to make sure you don’t miss it!
- Waves club is hosting a hygiene kit drive until the 31 of January. Donations should be dropped off at room 1421.
Events:
- CSF sign-ups for 2nd semester are in progress so make sure to head to room 1514 before 4:00pm on the 30th to sign up!
- Progress reports will be out soon Trojans so stay on top of your grades and make sure to check tutoring hours if needed.
- SENIORS! Make sure to check out the student bulletin for information on upcoming events, and to make sure you stay eligible for all of the fun at the end of the year!
