Stockton- We are approaching 2026 and, even though it is the new year, even when you still might not feel any different, it is important to remember to make some goals for yourself in order to make positive changes for your future.
Some of the most common resolutions have to do with either weight loss, or meeting new people, improving on diets and stuff like that, but what should you, as a student of Lincoln, do? What should you put as possible and important New Year’s resolutions? Here is my main resolution that resonates with all grades, freshman through senior, that are always important to try and improve on.
First I would say that any social improvement is critical for any person, anywhere. It may be another very common resolution that pops up, however, for us as students, for us who are building our knowledge for future school or work, we must become more sociable. Especially those who are freshmen or even sophomores who maybe still aren’t accustomed to social life in high school, we would love to hear your social capabilities! And for juniors and seniors who are closely prepping for either college applications or college campus life: you will be required to be as social as possible as well as focused to be the best student you can be when entering freshman year college. Not saying you aren’t sociable or focused, but it is still important!
Now, this resolution may not speak to everyone, so we would love to hear your resolutions for yourself going into next year, or any advice for others that would help with going into 2026! So if you could, please hit the green comment bubble button on the side of the article and let’s hear your resolutions / advice! Be sure to come back and look at what people have to say in the comments section; it is a perfect place for those who want to look back on what they wanted to accomplish for the future year and see if you have met your goals, because your comment or another person’s comment that you followed will always be here to see! So theoretically, you could never forget if you keep checking in now and then!
