Stockton– The new year is celebrated around the globe no matter when it is. The US might have the biggest celebration as people around the nation throw parties and celebrate with family and friends. In New York City they have the ball drop every year when midnight hits. In California there are parades and parties everywhere. At these celebrations you could expect traditional food, drinks and traditions you and your family might have. New Year’s Eve always falls on December 31st and is mainly celebrated at midnight when it will officially become 2026.
We also celebrate the new year here in Stockton! There are various public celebrations you could attend if you do not already have plans. An event going on is New Years at The Crossing. The event starts at 9:00 pm and goes until 12:30. There will be high energy mixed music from Donovan Bryant. If you attend, your night will be full of eating, drinking, dancing and celebrating with family and friends. This event is family friendly so everyone can go. It is located at Woodbridge Crossing 18939 N lower Sacramento Rd. There are also various other events you could find at Visit Stockton website on the calendar.
