Stockton- If you were to watch a movie about Anthony’s time in high school, the title on the screen would simply read: The Shenanigans. Born in Stockton in 2007, Anthony’s path to graduation was anything but traditional. One of his most significant milestones wasn’t just a grade or a trophy, but the pride of graduating from military school before transitioning to Lincoln High.
Once at Lincoln, Anthony became known for his social nature and his self-professed talent for being funny and likable. While he found his sophomore year a bit “boring,” things picked up during his junior year, which he considered his easiest. He found a rhythm in his favorite classes, specifically Mr. Bonnerfield’s math class and Mr. A’s ceramics class. Outside of the traditional school day, Anthony’s athletic energy was focused on Muay Thai, and he achieved a major personal milestone this past year: learning how to drive. Anthony’s high school experience was defined by the close friends he made and the laid-back attitude he brought to the campus. Whether he was navigating the rigors of military school or the halls of Lincoln, he remained true to his personality, embracing the social side of the student experience.
With graduation on the horizon, Anthony is ready to trade “the shenanigans” for a new level of discipline as he prepares to join the military. He leaves his peers with a unique piece of life advice that perfectly captures his humor: “If you’re gonna be late, might as well be all the way late.” While his time at Lincoln is coming to an end, the friends and memories he made ensure his story is just beginning.
